Title：Simulated Annealing for a Stochastic Cellular Automata

Abstract：One of the approaches adopted to solve certain types of combinatorial problems is map such a problem into a problem of finding the minimizers of a Hamiltonian for an associated spin system. Our goal in this talk is to show that by introducing a stochastic dynamic in the spin system, there is a sufficient condition under which such a dynamic will converge to the uniform distribution supported on the ground states. The proof of this result was based on the notions of weak and strong ergodicity for time inhomogeneous Markov chains.
