We present a unified approach via potential theory for solvability of a class of nonlinear elliptic equations involving measure data, with various type of operators including, the p-Laplacian, or more generally, -Laplacian, as well as the fractional Laplacian. This talk is based on joint work with Igor E. Verbitsky.
