Title：Dynamically defined Cantor setの差集合について

Abstract：1980年代後半 J.Palis と F.Takens は，ホモクリニック分岐における分岐パラメータ集合の測度の評価に関する，いわゆる Palis-Takens理論 を作り上げたが，その中で Cantor set の差集合についての問題を提起した．この講演では，そのような差集合に関するいくつかの結果について解説する．

Title：On the intersection of Cantor sets and products of random matrices

Abstract：The Hausdorff dimension of the intersection of two randomly translated Cantor sets can be expressed in terms of the top Lyapunov exponent of a product of random matrices. In this talk, I present new combinatorial and analytic methods that make it possible to compute the Lyapunov exponent—and hence the Hausdorff dimension—in a broad class of new examples. As an application, we determine the Hausdorff dimension of the intersection of the middle-seventh Cantor set with a random translate of itself.
