Abstract
Plastic crystals that show ferroelectricity are highly promising materials for a wide range of applications. Their inherent remarkable malleability and highly symmetric cubic structures in the plastic crystal phase ensure that their ferroelectricity and related properties are retained in their bulk polycrystals.
