Introduction of Research

My research interests are in understanding the mechanism of volcanic eruption and the process of crystal nucleation and growth in magma. I try to understand the eruption dynamics based on the nanoscale volcanic petrology (petrology from a new perspective of nanocrystals).

Self Introduction

I like watching basketball, listening to classical music, and playing the piano and the French horn. When I was in my third year of university, I was so moved by the lava dome of Mt. Tarumae in Hokkaido that I decided to study volcanology.
