Introduction of Research
In the medical field, understanding of natural science, especially physics, plays an important role to solve problems and develop new technologies. For example, investigation of nuclear reaction probabilities (cross sections) is required to accurately estimate the necessary volume of radioactive isotopes (RI) for medical care. We focus on charged-particle-induced reactions to produce such medical RI, which are measured experimentally. We can contribute to society by conducting the research from the viewpoint of basic physics.
