Title：Global existence for the nonlinear wave equation with singular potential

Abstract：In this talk, I’d like to to present a result related to the Strauss conjecture obtained jointly with Professor V. Georgiev. The conjecture is concerned with the initial value problem for the wave equation with the power type nonlinearity. Here, such a nonlinear wave equation is treated in presence of the inverse-square potential, by assuming the minus Laplacian with the potential is essentially self-adjoint.By deriving suitable weighted spacetime estimates, we are able to show the global existence for small initial data.
